Following her debuts last Season at the Salzburg Easter Festival in Das Rheingold and at the Zurich Opera Hause as Maddalena and Orlofsky, Yajie Zhang returns this 2026/27 Season to the Bavarian State Opera in Wagner’s Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung. She returns to The Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts, where she makes her role debut as Rosina in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and performs in Mozart’s The Magic Flute as Second Lady. She sings Third Lady with the Beijing Music Festival. On the concert stage, she returns to the Vienna Musikverein this Fall, makes her U.S. debut with the Pacific Symphony and returns to the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra with Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde.
